Sharing your work is intimate, but it doesn’t need to be scary. Trained in the Storytelling Method, I practice compassion and curiosity in every interaction. With notes on grammar, style, and form I also provide tailormade exercises to help you nurture your work. It’s all about getting your hands dirty.

  • I was once told that edits are the biggest vote of confidence you can get for your work. It’s a sign that the editor sees what you’ve created as worth their every effort. That’s how I approach editing. Everything I note is in service of you and the piece. That means every brilliant word will be given its due respect, and every fumble will get equal care and attention.

  • Absolutely! If you have a writing or artist group, I can lead a workshop made for the needs of your collective. These are done either on zoom or locally in Chicago.
