Work with Game Master Worlds
2024+
My love for DnD was reignited in 2023, and I quickly found a home with Game Master Worlds. After getting to know Nathan and the rest of the team, I was embraced as a story and adventure writer. GMW invited me to contribute puzzles and encounters for their newest book series, Encounters at a Glance: Into the Wild. I also contributed NPCs to the accompanying Encounter’s Journal and mechanics to Let the Sky Fall, Weather Deck.
Two different Choose Your Own Adventure games have been published by Game Master Worlds. One was an exclusive for Discord members and the other is used as a solitary card drawing adventure.
“Maple,” a daring tale of a little squirrel taking on a mafia of chipmunks, is still available to read. Play “Haunted Harbor” with the GMW team at any convention.
Game Master Worlds is a TTRG group that creates tools for adventures that expands on the 5e Dungeons and Dragons world.
Alt Text Writing at Northwestern
2026+
As new accessibility requirements are brought to bridge the gap between USA and EU standards, Kellogg Teaching Resources has begun the process of adding new alt text to their library of teaching documents. Brought on for this specific purpose, I’ve been creating, editing, and formatting alt text for the over 2,000 cases published by the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern.
Freelance
2020+
Freelancing in earnest began with helping artists complete ad copy and bios for their social accounts. From there it grew to working with highly specialized companies to create engaging written content, design style guides, and expand communications operations. I’ve had clients across industries— from nation wide jewelers, to funeral directors, to the late night punks that stalk the Midwest.
readings & Donations
2018+
I have been a featured author for readings in several indie galleries around Chicago, and donated my work to student and artist lead publishers. Organizations include Purple Window Gallery, The Lab, Rubber Neck Gallery, and online zine The Compost.
